What kind of products does vanPlestik make?

What types of plastic is vanPlestik able to print with?

For an efficient recycling process it is important that a single type of plastic is used. vanPlestik is able to print with the following types of plastic: PS, HIPS, PLA, ABS, PET-G, PC. Is your sort of plastic not listed? Contact us to discuss possibilities, we are always reinventing!

Is vanPlestik able to print with my company’s waste streams?

Together we can analyse a specific waste stream and test if it’s suitable for recycling. A few examples of waste streams we have used before are: phone cases, coffee cups, flowerpots/trays, mushroom containers, festival coins, coat hangers, refrigerator drawers and many more.

What is the possible size of the objects vanPlestik creates?

Our 3D printer is enormous and we are able to print form the size of a soup bowl up to an artwork like The Plastic Madonna, that we’re printing in parts. The size of our printer is 1 – 1.30 – 0.90 meters.

Where does vanPlestik get it’s resources from?

We work with post-consumer waste as well as post-industrial waste. Sometimes we buy batches of plastic waste and sometimes we receive donations from likeminded companies.

Where can I buy an object by vanPlestik?

Our products are available in our webshop and in The Maker Store in Amsterdam.
